8/29/2014 - Quiz # 1

Today we took our first quiz (Quiz #1) and set up our binders and dividers for the class. The dividers are as followed:

   1) Current Assignments
   2) Warm Ups
   3) Daily Work
   4) Quizzes
   5) Tests

Under the "Current Assignment" divider, the "Assignment Log" will be kept where we will keep track of our assignments and their due dates.

8/28/2014 - Domain and Range Practice

Today we practiced finding domain and range using our orange "domain and range foldable" that we created yesterday. We cut out the practice cards and wrote the domain and range on the back of the cards that went along with the graph. At the end of class we stored them away in the yellow envelopes that we made yesterday.

Today we set up our interactive notebooks, took notes on Cornell Notes, and started to take notes on Basic Function Characteristics. The following are pictures of my notes from class today. The green Cornell Notes sheet was passed out in class; there are extras in class if you need them.

8/25/2014 - This Year's Syllabus :D

Remember that you must sign the syllabus and have your parent/guardian sign it as well. It must be returned this Friday, August 29, 2014. Also, your 2 required supplies for the class [1 1/2'' binder and dividers (5 tabs)] are also due this Friday, August 29, 2014.
